Former Express Scripts president Amy Bricker and CVS Pharmacy Inc. are appealing to the Eighth Circuit in an effort to overturn a recent order that bars her from taking an executive position at CVS while a lawsuit over her noncompete agreement moves forward.
The US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri granted Cigna Corp. ‘s request for a preliminary injunction on June 5, prohibiting Bricker from accepting the position of executive vice president, retail and disclosing any of Cigna’s trade secrets or confidential information to CVS pending a final determination on the merits of the case.
