While the background work for this to happen is being completed, plans can be emailed to the Fire Marshal's Office. The Fire Marshal's Office provides a very important customer service for the city. Through fire safety inspections, fire prevention classes / programs, and nuisance abatement inspections, we strive to ensure League City is a safe, clean, healthy place to live, work, and visit.
The Fire Marshal's Office will serve the community with honesty, integrity and respect.
Fire inspections are scheduled, fire investigations are conducted as necessary.
Classes are offered to the public to inform and instruct in the prevention of fires, including evacuation plans, general fire safety, fire extinguisher operations, exit drills in the home, stop, drop, and roll, and the importance of a working smoke detector. Fire station tours are arranged through the Fire Division.

Fire safety inspections are designed to protect life and property by identifying unsafe conditions or practices. As a courtesy to the residents of League City, a free home fire safety inspection will be conducted at the homeowner's/occupant's request.
The Fire Marshal's Office investigates the origin, cause and circumstances of every fire that occurs within the city limits where property has been destroyed or damaged. Further, the Fire Marshal's Office investigates whether fires are the result of carelessness, design or arson.
